B.C. Reg. 90/2005, deposited March 18, 2005, pursuant to the EMPLOYMENT AND ASSISTANCE ACT [Section 35] and the EMPLOYMENT AND ASSISTANCE FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES ACT [Section 26]. Order in Council 289/2005, approved and ordered March 17, 2005.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that, effective May 1, 2005, the Employment and Assistance Regulation, B.C. Reg. 263/2002, and the Employment and Assistance for Persons with Disabilities Regulation, B.C. Reg. 265/2002, are amended as set out below.

1 The Employment and Assistance Regulation, B.C. Reg. 263/2002, is amended in section 1 (a) of Schedule B by adding the following subparagrah:

(xxviii) payments made by a health authority or a contractor of a health authority to a recipient, who is a "person with a mental disorder" as defined in section 1 of the Mental Health Act, for the purpose of supporting the recipient in participating in a volunteer program or in a mental health or addictions rehabilitation program.

2 The Employment and Assistance for Persons with Disabilities Regulation, B.C. Reg. 265/2002, is amended in section 1 (a) of Schedule B by adding the following subparagraph:

(xxix) payments made by a health authority or a contractor of a health authority to a recipient, who is a "person with a mental disorder" as defined in section 1 of the Mental Health Act, for the purpose of supporting the recipient in participating in a volunteer program or in a mental health or addictions rehabilitation program.
