Definitions

1 In this regulation, "Act" means the Election Act.

Advertising exempted from sponsor identification

2 Election advertising transmitted by any of the following articles is exempt from the requirements of section 231 (1) [sponsor identification] of the Act:

(a) clothing;

(b) novelty items, including wearable novelty items such as buttons, badges, wrist bands and necklaces;

(c) small items of nominal value that are intended for personal use.
