Definition

1 For the purposes of the Public Service Act, "auxiliary employee" means an employee who

(a) is specified under a collective agreement to be an auxiliary employee, or

(b) is not covered by a collective agreement and performs work by

(i)  substituting for another employee on maternity, parental, adoption or other extended leave or on assignment to a special project, or

(ii)  working on a special project or other work of limited duration.
